In advance of Leila Philip's visit to Denison University, the Licking Land Trust, Licking Parks District, Licking County Libraries, and Granville Public Library is hosting a book discussion.
Ms. Philip's book chronicles the history beavers have had on America's economy, landscape, and the health of our water resources. Learn about how beavers gave the Astor family their start, how satellite imaging has captured this rodent's geographical impact, and the current benefits and difficulties beavers bring to the modern world.
This book discussion will be held at the James Bradley Center at Infirmary Mound Park (4351 Lancaster Rd.). Copies of Ms. Philip's book Beaverland: How One Weird Rodent Made America can be borrowed from the Granville Public Library or the Licking County Library.
