According to a recent study by the Ohio EPA, 86% of Ohio’s large rivers meet or exceed the state’s water quality standards But what do we know about the small streams that run through our backyards and communities?  What makes a stream “healthy” or “impaired”, and what can we do to protect our small streams? In this presentation we will explore these questions and share some of our own data on stream quality in central Ohio.
