The Reporting Project is a nonprofit news outlet based at Denison on a mission to tell the important and interesting stories about people and places in and around Licking County.

Jack Shuler is a professor and chair of the Journalism program at Denison University. He's a journalist, columnist and author of four books including THIS IS OHIO (2020).


Julia Lerner is managing editor of The Reporting Project and teaching in Denison's Journalism program. She has worked for a number of outlets including CNN, The Cascadia Daily, and The Nome Nugget.
