Join Cheryl Ann Lambert to learn how to practice media literacy in the digital age. What are mis- and disinformation? How can you recognize them? What are the forces behind mis/disinformation? How can you address and counter mis/disinformation when you see it? This presentation is co-hosted by Granville Public Library and the League of Women Voters of Licking County.
Cheryl Ann Lambert is an associate professor in the School of Media and Journalism at Kent State University. Her research explores the portrayal of public relations in media, popular culture, and publicity campaigns. Professor Lambert holds a PhD in Communication and Information (U of Tennessee) and an MA in Journalism (Temple University).
