Instructions: 


It is essential that your device has Minecraft installed before arriving. This policy enables our instructors to focus on teaching and engaging with the kids, rather than troubleshooting and setting up devices. Participants who arrive with a device that does not meet these requirements will not be able to participate in the event.

Supported Devices and Editions: 


Devices: Laptops, personal Chromebooks, iPads, and Tablets. 
Editions: Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Minecraft Java Edition. 
*If you are using tablets or iPads, please be aware that Minecraft is a paid download from the app store (Apple iPad, iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). It usually costs $6.99. 


Not Supported Devices: 


Nintendo Switch: Console format is incompatible. 
School-issued Chromebooks: We find these often have restrictions that block the required installation. 
Minecraft Education Edition: This version is incompatible because it lacks the multi-server play functionality required for our program. 
Modded Versions: These are not stable or officially supported by our setup.
